Marriage Broker is a story of second chances, redemption and the transformative power of unconditional love.

Marriage brokers served a very useful purpose across history. The practice is still active and flourishing in Asian cultures. In the US marriage brokers provided "mail order brides" to gentlemen - and probably likely not so gentleman-like frontiersman in the years where women were a scarce commodity. More recently were also wealthy "dollar princesses" in the US who brought much needed cash to men with a great need in exchange for a title in the English aristocracy. This has been part of the story line of several television and film productions, amonng these the HBO production The Gilded Age and the BBC television series and movie Downton Abbey.
